SCHOOL INFORMATION
AHA employs many educational tools and techniques, believing that not all students learn and process the same way. Some of the tools used are workbooks, videos, computer presentations, and white boards. Some of the techniques are reading, lecture, experimentation, and application of skills learned.
The maximum class size for any class at the Kennewick location is 9 students, and the average student to Instructor ratio is 6:1.

If you are late, your attendance record and training hours will reflect this.
Arrive to class on time!
On class dates, the school is open 15 minutes before class and closes 30 minutes after class has ended. If you arrive earlier than this, please wait until the door is unlocked.
School Facilities
The classroom is located on the second floor of the CC West Building, #209. There is a bathroom on the floor.
Confidentiality
This training includes the opportunity for personal growth and discovering your own inner resources. The AHA believes that in order for this to be a positive experience for students, a safe and supportive environment needs to be established. By practicing confidentiality and respectfulness, we can create this sacred space for your learning and healing.
There is to be no sharing outside of class of another participant’s process without their expressed permission. Nothing of a personal nature that is shared by class participants is to be discussed outside of class.
You may share your own experience, but it is not appropriate or acceptable in this training to share another participant's story, experience or process.
This includes not sharing a participant's process amongst yourselves when the participant is not present.
What is said in class
Let it stay in class
When you leave the class
Breaking confidentiality is grounds for termination!!!!!
Practice Respectfulness
Respect and honor the differences of your classmates, assistants, and instructors. Take advantage of this opportunity to practice non-judgment, a practice that is essential when working with clients.
Be respectful of sharing time. You will have time for questions, comments, sharing, and processing. You are encouraged to participate fully in-class. Be sensitive to the amount of time you are taking so that everyone has equal opportunity to share.
Believe in Yourself
You are capable.
You are lovable.
You are worthy to be loved, by others and by yourself.
